New Year 2026 – Snow, Silence, and a New Beginning ❄️
The new year arrived quietly — and then suddenly, it didn’t.
Overnight, Stockholm was covered in snow.
A lot of it. Around 15 cm, transforming the city into something almost unreal.
Streets softened, sounds muted, and everything slowed down for a moment.
Cold stretches across Sweden, from Malmö to Kiruna, and it feels as if the entire country has paused to welcome 2026.
(See the picture below — winter really showed up this time.)

As the snow kept falling, I found myself doing something symbolic: I started putting up my page.
A fresh start, a clean surface, something new to build on.
There’s something about beginning a project while the world outside is being reset that feels right.
A new year. A white city. A blank page.
